Loop Lagoon

Take the long bend, one paddle stroke at a time.

Loop Lagoon concept artwork
Original concept artwork. This page describes a design in development; it is not an active game screen.

The central idea

Different channels could offer broad safe bends or tighter shortcuts. A visible current line would explain how the canoe will drift when the paddle rests.

A small game works best when its first choice makes sense without a long explanation. This concept begins with a single interaction and a visible consequence. Additional rules would only belong if they make that interaction more interesting.

What needs to feel right

Controls should remain comfortable with one hand on a phone. A forgiving introduction would establish the river's movement before asking the player to choose a faster route.

Before an idea becomes playable, it needs comfortable pointer and keyboard controls, a useful pause state and a clear result. The artwork on this page establishes the mood, while those interaction questions remain part of development.

What you can do today

Tidebend is our playable waterside game. Its boat crosses the river while you choose the moment to cast.
